Instructions
Other Products: Aged Mahogany distress ink, dimensional adhesive, hot glue, hot glue gun, scissors, paper trimmer, die cutting machine
Instructions: Make a card base from white card stock. Cut white card stock to size 11” by 6” and score at 6” on the longer side and fold to make a top fold square card. Add a mat layer in white card stock cut a little smaller than the card base so that 1/8-inch border is left all around. Adhere this on the card front. Cut another mat layer from the paper collection, a little smaller than the first mat layer, distress the edges and adhere to the second mat layer.
Cut the die cuts from the decorative dies in white card stock. Trim the edges of the Courtyard Elegance die cut to fit to the size of the second mat layer. Adhere this on the card front. On this, add the large Rounded window frame die cut. Then add the Eyelet Circle from the Eyelet Circle & Basics Die set. Distress the edges of the smaller doily round die cut with distress ink using sponge dauber and add to the center of the eyelet die cut. Using the circle die, cut designer paper for the center.
Stamp the small daffodil petals image on flower shaping paper with Sunflower ink. Stamp the inner part with Tiger Lily ink. Colour the images with the same ink shades and cut with coordinating dies. Shape and mold the petals in the 3d flower shaping molds for the daffodils. Adhere the notches of the inner part to form a cup like shape. Adhere two layers of the daffodils petals and adhere this whole piece at the base of the inner part. Add 6 stamens in the centre to finish the flower.
Make leaves using the leaf stamp from the large wild rose cling stamp set. Stamp them on the flower shaping paper using Library Green ink and colour using the Library Green colour and Leaf Green colour. Cut with matching die and shape with groove golf tool. Make filler flowers from the small wild rose stamp and die set.
Add the flowers and leaves along with filler flowers on the card front using hot glue.
Stamp the sentiment on white card stock, cut and mat on Luxe Silver card stock and adhere to the card front.
I hope you liked my flowers. Which ones are your favourite flowers?? Do let me know.
